Wife and I really enjoyed while down there and bought a bunch to take home. I happened to need some other hot sauce and went to the store upon our return, look on the shelf and there it was. Wished I had known and would not have needed to check a bag on the way home.

Smoking Marie is good, smoked habanero is better and fiery hot is a go to. The red hornet is almost too hot, but a good, pure hot sauce.

Lived in Belize and we keep Marie Sharps on hand all of the time. The Original Fiery Hot and Smoked Habanero are my favorites.

I found it at the neighborhood Walmart. They had 3 or 4 varieties.

Yesterday I made the recipe above, and it's hot as hell! Very easy to make. Still has good flavor and was great on fajitas.

The everyday, every meal salsa in our staff dining room in Belize:
2 cups very finely diced white onion
1 or 2 seeded and finely minced Habanero
6 whole Allspice
1 tsp salt
1 cup distilled White Vinegar
(Optional 2tsp. chopped Cilantro)

Combine everything in a bowl add a little water or more vinegar if Vinegar doesn't cover ingredients. Let sit at least 2 hours at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator. Pick out Allspice before serving.

If you like Belize pepper sauce then you need to try Trini pepper sauce too. Very spicy, but different texture and flavor.

I grow my own, but if you cant source chadon beni(culantro) then sub regular old cilantro.

I just made this stuff again, and it's really good. Adapted recipe slightly. Very hot though so might adapt your ingredients a little to your spice level.

- Saute 1/2 onion and 8 cloves garlic in TBLS oil for 5 minutes on medium heat
- Add can of sliced carrots and saute for a couple more minutes
- Add 2 cups water and cover, cooking for 15 minutes
- Add 14 seeded habaneros, 1/2 red bell pepper, 2 whole jalapenos, juice of 2 limes,1/4 cup white vinegar, and salt to taste. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Blend and salt to taste
