Gunslinger Salsa will be serving samples at the GO TEXAN Market at HLSR this Saturday (tomorrow). It's our last day out there. Straight back from the Hall B entrance in NRG Center by the petting zoo. If you're out there for Brooks & Dunn stop by and say hi!

I just buy whatever the fresh stuff is that is out.

I was up in Michigan a while back and they had fresh Michigan cherry salsa and I loved it.

Gunslinger was not on the shelf at westheimer specs this weekend. Was disappointed.

Wish the Rowlett Spec's wasn't so incompetent. I've requested they stock it numerous times. Nothing.

Feel free to let the manager know. I have zero control over their stocking strategy.

Shout out to tx4guns, good to meet you today at specs and try the gunslinger, it's legit and will be a staple at the house. Tossed it on some cheesy grits and eggs for dinner, muy bueno. Keep up the good work, will be on the lookout for the hot sauces as well!

I do like the Kylito's Original, but just came across a new one today that I really like - Patricia Quintana Roasted Tomato & Jalapeño Salsa. Can get it at HEB.

My go to chip as of late is the HEB Central Market Totopos Blue Corn with Sea Salt - the right amount of thickness, the right amount of crunchiness and the right amount of salt. They are great!

Eating at El Arroyo is quite possibly my earliest Tex Mex memory! Been going there since the early 80's! My go to is their Enchiladas Del Mar.

Mateo's has a Hatch version which is really good, but I still like La Casita best for store bought.

El Patio chips are my new fave store bought. They are somehow filled with air, light, crisp, salty. Perfect.
