Back in my bartending days, Drambuie was one of those bottles that collected a lot of dust because you got maybe one rusty nail order a month.

Another one was B&B. I had never tried it but they had it at the open bar at a wedding I went to in Mexico. A buddy ordered one and from a distance it smelled like pure terpentine. He told me to really get my nose in the snifter and it smelled heavenly. Tasted just as good.

Benedictine is a staple at family get togethers with my wife's family. Her grandma will pour several shots once the domino game gets going after supper. It's definitely an acquired taste. The other regular shots in the rotation are "hot sex" and "Big Black Dick" rum mixed with chocolate ice cream. I'm fairly certain the last two are just so Gigi can walk around and chuckle while she asks everyone if they're interested in hot sex or big black dick lol.

There was a time on my younger days when I drank B&B Stingers. Havent done that in years.

Yeah, the drambuie was always gathering dust up there with the Galliano, but I worked at a chain restaurant so I mainly just poured beer, made rum/coke, and frozen margs.
