Win 4 in 4 days and win the SEC tournament. I'll take an SEC Championship over getting bounced before the Final 4.
We've won more games in the conference tournament over the past 3 tries than probably the previous 20 years.phatty26 said:
Depends BK!s two sweet games we were beaten in the first 5 minutes absolutely slaughtered by OU and Michigan. Not sure which team did better in the conf tourney 07, and bk's teams.
I kinda remember that happening, but I dont think I watched that game. Must've been played during the work day.Method Man said:

Diarra nails the 3 to beat UF.JJxvi said:I kinda remember that happening, but I dont think I watched that game. Must've been played during the work day.Method Man said:

You would rather win the SEC tourney than make an Elite 8 appearance. Really?SWAGBOT said:
The only real question IMO is would you rather win the SEC Tournament or make the Final Four (and lose).
I can see the argument either way. Anything short of the F4 though, I'd take winning the SEC tourney.
That reflects poorly on you. Not us.bobinator said:
At least I answered the OP's question.
JJxvi said:I agree with that. Regular season championship>Tournament championship>Sweet 16. Sweet 16 might be rare for us to where we have some that are still enamored with the both the idea of it and also the weird "only the tournament matters!" people, that I guess don't watch regular season basketball.PatAg said:Id rather win the regular season championshipJJxvi said:

For the one bid league type teams, making the Sweet 16 might as well be the same as winning a national championship, but for a multi-bid major conference team like us, winning conference championships is rarer and harder than making the Sweet 16.
Yeah but thats not pre-Buzz Williams....Method Man said:Diarra nails the 3 to beat UF.JJxvi said:I kinda remember that happening, but I dont think I watched that game. Must've been played during the work day.Method Man said:

Ags kill Auburn.
And this is why our school is broken. We hate losing to t.u. more than we love the big picture.agman_05 said:
It is hard in almost any circumstance to consider losing to tu.
Aggies have perpetual little brother syndrome and I don't think they (we) will ever shake it.94chem said:And this is why our school is broken. We hate losing to t.u. more than we love the big picture.agman_05 said:

If we just did what Ohio State did (lose to Michigan and win the NC), there would be some old Ags who would be miserable. I would not be one of them.HossAg said:
To be fair, this is how Michigan and OSU operate, and they've won the last two football natties.

True, but some fanbases are better at reading than others.JJxvi said:
There is no fanbase in the country that thinks "the big picture" involves losing games to their rivals except like the creeps that hope to lose so the coach gets fired or whatever.
