I am feeling like we will be a 4 seed (probably deserving of a 3 seed but we get slotted lower). Missed opportunity for highest seed ever with so much experience returning this year.

Ranked 15th and a bad beat by Texas as a one and done in the SEC.I think there are alot of dreamers out there at a 3. Tack on a 5 of 7 losing streak and I think we would be lucky to get a 4. Put down the Aggie coolaid.
If there's one thing we've learned in recent years, it's that the conference tournaments don't matter much. I say 3, as we finished the season with a #1 win and taking care of LSU.

I think we're a soft three, so while I think we're a 3 I think you can logically defend a 4. My guess is we're going to be a 3, but I'm not going to be upset if we're a 4. Anything below that would be pretty bad though unless this committee just decided to completely go in a different direction this week.

When I look at some of the metrics that I think the committee has relied on lately, things like non-conference SOS, Q1/Q2 games and wins, KPI, and the new metric WAB, we have a fairly clear advantage in those areas over Iowa State and Maryland, and in some of those areas even over Wisconsin (but I think Wisconsin gets the nod as the 3rd 3 seed).
If this committee decides to lean much heavier into predictive metrics, we will be in trouble, but the fact that we were No. 6 overall in that initial ranking (with relatively poor predictive metrics even at that time) leads me to believe the resume metrics are way more important.

What do you think those games would be a dog fight? We'd be playing the worst team we've played by far since November.
