Our program has a long way to go in the latter. Buzz is fine, but obvs not as good as some of those other hires by comparison.

Hahahahaa how is he wrong? Buzz has won a Total of 2 ncaa games here. 2. People hate bk but he has double the wins in only 2 trips. Buzz is what he is. Wants to build up men of character. Play good d and rebound and shoot 30%. It's who he is and not pretty but that's how he rolls

Buzz isn't fine. He's decided one half of the game, offense, doesn't matter. Today was his peak with an idiotic worldview of offense like that.


You want to write thank you notes and read books go be a prof over in ag leadership.

Buzz disappointed me in our tournament play. After seeing Payne's play so well in the tournament, I ask why didn't we prepare him and the team to use Payne more? Smh, Buzz just seems to have zero clue about offensive basketball. Then he has that crazy junk defense. Buzz is a great leader maybe the best leadership qualities of any A&M coach but damn he almost just ignores the offensive side of the ball.

Didn't tech make a championship game and an elite 8 in 18 and 19?

Baylor made an elite 8 in 2010.

Tennessee had the Bruce Pearl years of their own.

Auburn and bama are the only two examples that are true.

Auburn and Alabama are the only comparisons

A&M won't get a better coach than Buzz. The only way is if leadership takes a chance on some young up and coming coach that no one knows about and get lucky. But why would an established known quantity in basketball (better than Buzz) come to Texas A&M for basketball? They wouldn't.

Are you sure? He's missed it 3 out of 6 seasons. Next year isn't looking good. Would be a blessing if he left IMO.

Are you serious? Baylor. Their coach has been there 20 years. Pearl got ten at the Barn. Barnes over 10 at Tennessee. You lose all credibility.

Are those schools better than us? Yes. But they were better before Buzz got here.

Our last coach, who we fired, accomplished more in less time than Buzz. The idea that we can't find a coach who can make a Sweet 16 in 6 years is hilarious because Billy Kennedy did it twice

Buzz took VT to sweet 16 in 5 years, Marquette to Sweet 16 and elite 8

I heard he is leaving, I hope you are happy and I'm sure our proud program and basketball dedicated fanbase can see an improvement

My silver lining to us losing was knowing 2nd Gen Ag would have a Debbie Downer post locked and loaded to go as soon as the game ended.

Baylor has won 19+ games 17 of the last 19 years and 6 years ago had a national championship roster

6 years ago tech was coming off a national championship game appearance.


6 years ago Tennessee was coming off a 30 win season

6 years ago Auburn made the final 4

6 years ago A&M went 14-17 and had made 2 tournaments in the last 9 years
