The Purdue one was tough. Their best player was out with an injury. We had a 10 point lead in the second half. Win that game and play Duke in Houston in the round of 16. But playing in front of a large "home" crowd did not help us against Memphis but would have been fun to go to.
The NCAA had set up the 2010 tournament to where Texas A&M would have played in Houston for the Sweet 16 and the Elite 8.

The 2010 team was athletic enough, and big enough to have upset Duke in the Sweet 16.
That would have setup a match in the Elite 8 against Baylor in Houston.

A&M would have had the home court advantage against Baylor at the NRG Dome.

OP needs to edit Game 1. We beat Louisville in Sweet 16 and lost to Memphis in Elite 8 matchup.

We have never been to the elite 8

I think we knock out Ohio state and head to the final 4 if we win that game in 07

No way

I do. I know they had Conley but we had multiple big bodies to throw at Oden and those were the rosters that gave ohio state issues

Tennessee was up 21 points on Ohio state in their sweet 16 game and just gagged it up. That team was not remotely invincible

Aggie home crowd in San Antonio with trip to final 4 on the line? IMO we are winning that game all day long

We'd have pissed ourselves in the big moment.
It's the Aggie way

2. 2008- A&M led by Turge and Donald Sloan loses to #2 UCLA. Chokes large lead. Lost 51-49 in round of 32. No foul called at end- on an obvious hack on Sloan.

i'm going to have to go with this one just for the "getting screwed" aspect of it.

I'm still devastated by the LSU shot in 2006. That team definitely had potential to be the double digit seed that could make a true Cinderella run. Was just cut short but an absurd shot. LSU went on to the final four that year.

Yeah that sucked. Guy hits a freakin 30 foot 3 for the win.

But the acie law missed layup Memphis game stings the most

We were a legit final 4 caliber team that season
