This team is very workmanlike. Plays with emotion very much under control

Nice win where we had to weather a storm to do it . Failed the previous test vs UCF. Team is clearly growing . Was a little surprised Bucky shortened his bench as much as he did last 10 mins .
The is a deep cut, but the ACC being better this year gives Pitt a decent shot at finishing in the top 75 NET. Frankly FSU should be a top 75er criteria as well, but maybe they can get top 50.

They were both perfect games to play because they aren't very good so you can win but play in a competitive enough league they'll have a decent NETPascalsWager said:

It's fun watching a team that actually appears to have an offensive strategy. I loved watching our team hustle under buzz, and this team hustles just as hard but actually can make shots to go along with the hustle.
Able to watch most of this game.
Need better defensive rebounding.
I like better shooting and better FT shooting.

To survive that scoring drought and 16-0 run gives me lots of hope! The team has matured, and will continue to progress in all facets!
I hope that Mgbako can recover his athleticism at some point this season. Right now he is extremely stiff, no lateral movement, no bounce. Watching his highlights from last year, he's not even remotely the same player. Having last season's Mgbako would go a long way.

Transitively speaking, we beat FSU by 35, which lost to Florida by 2, which is taking Duke to the wall AT Duke. We're awesome!
All but 2 points from three, paint, and the line.
Good win on the road! A couple times when Pitt went on runs in both halves I thought they might fold like in our 2 losses, but the team rose up and reclaimed the momentum each time! Great to see.

Um that's a feature not a bug. And it looks like we might be OK despite that being a thing.
The attendance looks like some of ours earlier this year

And wow the full court pressure really turned the tide. Our last two opponents had mega problems with it at times.
I'll say for the most part those were before/after game pics

Half court D is coming together.
We had 16 assists on 26 makes on offense. The team is really evolving in a good way.
16/26 assist ratio is pedestrian for us, giving me flashbacks to that other coach (although it tracks since we were under our 3pt average).
