Optimistic outlook - you'd think our team will typically have less turnovers and shoot better in most games going forward.

1-0 in conference play, finally won a game against equal competition, Bucky Ball is stressful but entertaining as hell. I'll take it.
Dominguez is putting too much pressure on himself- afraid to fail and let diwn the Americans. Relax- you're great. Fuego. Shoot it every time you're open- we love you! 
We've got to remember this is the first close game they've pulled out. It was a battle the effort was there but teams are gonna double Agee from now on. We will adjust as well.

I'd say we are pretty much worse at everything than we were last year but we were really good last year. Not sure what people were hoping for. I like Bucky and think we will be good hands going forward but there is little doubt we are significantly worse than last year. But that's an unfair standard at this rate.

We missed our last 7 threes, our good FT shooters down the stretch all missed at least 1 free throw, that foul by Agee and the turnovers.
Well with all that we still won so I will take it. I am glad and hopefully we can keep getting better and finish better

I would say all of that against one of the worst 3 or 4 teams we will play considering LSUs best player was out. Then again we won. Nice to get a win while playing not great.

I'm thrilled with the win. We can play a lot better than this and yet we still won.

That doesn't change my point. I think our current outlook is grim considering we struggled against that version of LSU.
It's Year 1 under Coach Bucky and a new team trying to mesh together now without our best overall player out for the season. There will be ups and downs in SEC play but we will have to give Bucky into Year 3 or so to see how things will look.
Win is a win. Goal is 10 SEC wins. Our struggles were passing against a quick, handsy Lsu defense, a speed which we should acclimate to.PJYoung said:HeyAbbott said:

Half-court offense still questionable too often. Half-court Defense will always be evolving and improving hopefully.

We gave a helluva effort, especially on pressure D. They are entertaining to watch.

Chill! that wasn't meant AT ALL that way- i was talking abiut the STYLE of ball and hiw much fun it was- the comments abiut competing were 100% about our team only.
Quit being such a negative a-&$! who imagines every comment a criticism. You almost have yo be an idiot to think ANYONE would think last year's team (and really ALL Buzz's teams) didnt compete and play hard.

t-cam, i know it reads that way but that was poor drafting. nothing at all was meant to reference last yeear other than the difference in the experience of watching this style.
