Bucky topples that ridiculous tu win streak in Austin!
We might be in the midst of a special program and special coach yall. Every freaking game we have a huge edge from the bench. Buckys game planning, scheme, in-game adjustments and play calling is absolutely nails.
Compared to our usual finish, this felt like coasting home for the victory. Going into the season I told myself to not even imagine the tournament this year. So much for that.
It may not have been perfect down the stretch, but bottom line is we won. In Austin. With a bunch of players that had to be thrown together late in the portal by a coach that was hired late in the coaching carousel. Against a coach who was picked early in the process and had much more time to assemble his roster.

The thing that people keep forgetting is this team keeps learning and growing with each game and learns how to finish these games.

Feels like a weird thing to say after a great win, but I'm excited to see what kind of transfer haul Bucky can pull in this offseason after this proof of concept year. He's really pulled this thing together despite the limitations.

Yep. Who wouldn't want to play for this guy and his style?
Great game overall, especially the second half. We talk about how this team was thrown together, but there are a lot of guys who can hurt teams on our roster. Griffen's second half was incredible, but we might not see him do that for another two weeks. I'm convinced this team will go as far as Agee can take them.
I'll give props to Texas, they handled the press better than anyone has as far as limiting turnovers, but we played really good half court on them for the most part.
