There would hae to be. 99.5 percentile level collapse to not make the NCAA Tournament now. This game should have been a loss in almost every scenario where we wouldnt make it before today

I think that's right but at this point you have to start thinking a conference title is not a crazy notion. Not saying it's likely but it get's more likely with each W.

I feel like stealing a home game vs Mizzou or winning at OU and/or LSU are looking more likely than not right now. Even beating Kentucky at home no longer feels like theft is required , nor does Florida at home feel like a "major" upset. Still an upset tho.

I know less about basketball than I do about football, which is staggering. That being said, I think we found ourselves a basketball coach. Freaking love this team. Everyone steps up. Flying around the court. Excellent half court sets when we really need it. Awesome stuff!

Yeah, after every win, it becomes more and more likely, and I get less and less nervous.

I mean, this was basically a blowout. 15 point win on the road against a recently ranked team? Yes please!

I'm sorry I didn't keep up with this thread during the game

Can someone please explain why that was a flagrant foul on us in the first half for the jersey pull on the UGA fast break? Is that a college rule? Pops was behind the play so it wasn't a clear path type of thing like they have in the NBA.

Because it isn't (pulling on the jersey) a normal basketball play foul.

Real time video it looked like a little tug. I think in the arena they blew the whistle for the tug, realized they just cost UGA a basket, and got fixated on the still image of the tug on the replay.

Frankly I think they shouldn't have even whistled it. He didn't impede him at all and he passed it immediately. Let them play, give UGA the fast break layup.

I would love to see the rule on this. Seems like a ridiculous interpretation. He's trying to stop him, he fouled him by grabbing his jersey. Two shots and the ball, which they hit a three on the subsequent possession to make it a five point possession in total, seems excessive For that level of foul.

I think it was a foul. People foul all the time to prevent fast breaks when not in the bonus. Should've just been a common foul, but I admit I don't know the exact language of the rule. If that's the rule, needs to be changed.

This team is incredible to watch! I was getting nervous when Georgia got it down to a two point lead in the second half. Then I remembered we can get hot at any point and go on a tear!

Agee with another double double. The FT% was 95! 19 for 20!! Solid road sec win. Out rebounded them as well.

I'm pretty much at a loss of words at this point. 7-1 in conference play is so far beyond what anyone thought was possible this offseason and especially after the OSU and UCF games.

Toughest part of our schedule is coming up, maybe we get smacked by one of the top teams in the league, but at this point I feel like we're going to give everyone hell.

WE may have an off night....it happens.....BUT
1. We are 3-1 in SEC away games with the one loss in 2OT
2. We are confident
3. We are deep with different guys stepping up in each game
4. Our style is tough on a lot of teams

If you read the rule (the book is online), this action pretty much defines the rule. No interpretation involved. In years past, officials were disciplined for NOT calling an (historically) intentional (now flagrant 1) foul in that situation -- and that usually happened late in games when the outcome was in hand. The committee and the supervisors have always wanted this called.

I've been away from the game for a while (OK, quite a while, now), but I doubt much of anything has changed in the philosophy.
