That's the offense.
He needs to take this shot so the defense doesn't collapse.
He has a good stroke actually but he hangs back with his weight a little often leaving it short.

I too love our offense when we play well and despise it when we don't play well
We're shooting like 30% below our normal percentage but yeah let's blame one player.
We didn't play well because Florida is a hell of a lot better . It's not as simple as we just missed shots. We have a long way to go . . This game was a mismatch from the very beginning.

Good luck trying to get through to them. Every single press conference they ask about Agee shooting 3's, Bucky clearly states he has no issues with it and wants him to shoot them.
That's A&M doing A&M things........

Exactly. I'm pointing out the faulty logic of the OP. Just because some is 0/5 this game isn't an indication of what they should be doing.

Though Agee doesn't necessarily shoot the three at a high percentage, (theoretically) it makes the BIG that is guarding him have to get out of the key to respect the shot. When he's hitting this shot a couple times a game, this opens the key to a pass to someone in the key for an easy layup.
Against florida, not only did Agee not hit a three, but when he'd pass to a player in the key THEY'D MISS THE DAMN LAYUP TOO. This compounds the issue when he misses.
This is similar to why in football, you run the play action and throw deep. Whether the pass is completed or not, it stretches the defense where the safeties have to defend more than 10-15 yards from the line of scrimmage.

If this is what embarrasses you, then there are likely bigger issues than a missed 3. Bucky actually talked about this during one of his press conferences or weekly broadcasts. I believe he said Agee is a career 30%+ shooter. He is just not hitting as consistently right now.
Our shooting was horrible against Florida. Not sure I have ever seen a team go 1 for 25 or be shooting 4% from the field. Couple that with the size advantage for UF and it was a tough night. Credit the guys as I felt they continued to fight the whole game and overall kept their composure through some tense situations. The officials were on the edge of losing control several times and the UF coach was fanning the flames.
I think because of how well we have done, people tend to lose perspective of what this team is and how they came together. To this point, I think they have definitely overachieved expectations and are giving all fans hope for the future. At the beginning of the season there were very few that thought we would even be in the NIT conversation.

There is nothing embarrassing about anyone take a 3 point attempt ever in any game at anytime in history.
There was a moron on the game thread that kept saying we were getting embarrassed and it was completing embarrassing how the team didn't show up.
The only think I remember in the past 20 years that was embarrassing to A&M was Johnny's behavior ( though 98% of that was one Johnny, and did not reflect on A&M) and maybe Sumlin being fall-down drunk at a coach's convention. (although once again, not sure that really affected A&M that much).
All I hear now is how Yell Leaders, the Corps, Midnight Yell, anything New Army doesn't agree with is embarrassing.
My Advice: Stop worrying about what other people think.

Their size and defense had a lot to do with our "bad shooting night"
They were a bad matchup for us svd I hope they are not in our ncaa bracket
They were apparently a bad matchup for bama as well. Florida seems to have the magic ingredients this season on beating this style
