Going from 17.6% to 26% 3pt in the last 45 seconds really makes this game look a lot different than how it really was

Just a tough team to watch right now after seeing early success. Hopefully by some miracle we can get a game in the dance.

I'm sad.

I'm like you. Losing important games - especially against those aszhats - is really upsetting. Seemed like they didn't play with as much emotion or intensity as compared to earlier in the year.

Were you born in 2000?

Remember this is the same team who won at their place in Austin, and has looked strong against tops teams Alabama and Tennessee and lost those games by one possession margin taking them down to the wire. Coach told us, some nights will look like this team will never lose, and some nights will look like they will never win again. He's been candid and on target all along. He's building a program and we will look back at this season as the cornerstone. There's still more basketball left to play. Enjoy it!

Good call missing last night's baseball game. It did not go well.

Vinson wanted to be a hero against his former team and took two ill advised 3s. Both of which our team did not expect which lead to a difficult defensive possession and a free two points for tu. Absolutely selfish play that resulted in two empty possessions for us and 2 free points for them - basically the difference with a few minutes to go. He's probably the only eligible player I don't want on our team next year.

Another game where we had our opportunities but didn't take advantage of them while our opponent did. Add in some bad luck on a 3 pointer bouncing 5 feet in the air and then going in and several three pointers in the final 3 seconds of the shot clock and... how were we still in that game until the very end?!

I thought the first three was fine. He clearly has the green light from Bucky. The second one I didn't love.

I watched him during warm ups and he wasn't making 3s without a defense on the court... if I had to defend the shots I would say that at least he was open and it wasn't like our other players were getting good looks either. Too early in the shot clock to resort to that though. IMO we can get a wide open 3 from him any time we want - they'll give it to us!

He's made a couple this season though, including in the Bama game, so he obviously has the green (or at least yellow) light. If he does have it, then it's not an egregiously selfish play like you're saying.

We might not like it, but if the coach is okay with it then he's gotta shoot when he's open. Though the rhythm just felt off on that second one.

It upset me more that we weren't working to get Clemence more trey attempts
