Are you sure? Ole miss has only won 4 sec games and they are handling tu pretty easily. This is about as bad as you can do at an end of season tournament.

Indiana also just blasted by Northwestern, Cal lost to Pitt, SMU lost, etc.

Only way they miss is if some people start winning or like four bids gets stolen.

Texas losing 5 of their last 6 is definitely not how you want to be heading into selection sunday on the bubble. Ironically, their win against us is probably what's gonna put them in the tournament.

That is almost certainly what will put them in, which sucks. If they'd ended on a 6 game skid I don't think they get in even with the rest of the bubble teams crapping the bed.

Don't forget we're only one year removed from them having the worst Q1-Q3 W/L record to ever make the tournament. NCAA/CBS will make 1000% sure their golden child goes dancing. Even if it's only for one day.

CBS has nothing to do with selection and they surely don't care at all about Texas being in or out.

The tournament itself is so much bigger than any one team or game, they don't care about who is in/out or matchups. Texas isn't bringing any extra eyeballs than Lehigh.

I'd like OU to win. If you trust the committee enough to want to thread the needle on being an 11 seed but not in Dayton then maybe South Carolina and we should lose but Id rather just play OU so that even if we lose it's no big deal.
