Yea, sure.

The refs intentionally had a plan to call more fouls on us in the first half to let them get a big lead, and then agreed they would call more on them in the second half. Fouls right now are pretty close at 19 to 15, and yet they with all of their fouls in the second half are still ahead by 23.

This board is filled with absolute delusion!!

Well the Rockets play in the Toyota Center, so I think it'll be big enough. Rice is the host school, but it's not on their campus.

Oohhh. Yeah. Everyone was all in BEFORE 03. Wanting to say there is still a thread on the football forum where people speculated how good we'd be the next season (03) if we hired Fran. A lot of 11-1 predictions.

What is BS is that Houston is not fouling any more now than they were in the first half - but NOW, with UH firmly ahead, the referees decided it is safe to call it fairly.

If they called it the same all game long, we might have had a much closer game b

Games will be at the Toyota Center. The host school thing is more of a figurehead though they get a cut of ticket sale revenue and publicity

Well, not disagreeing with you but consider how many 1st rd players UH has vs how many guys we have that even make it to the Association.


The gap is even bigger than that. Consider how many of their guys will play professional basketball all over the world compared to us. Not just the NBA.

We have one guy that might get minutes for UH. Maybe two. They have seven that would instantly start for us and five of them would be our best player.

Houston is paying many more millions of dollars than us. And now it's building on itself. Have to spend a lot more money to get the players they've got.


Sure that's true for the future. I'm specifically referring to the performance of this 2026 team and this season.

But you're right. We are going to have to pay.

Yeah hopefully we go after some guys. I think we definitely outperformed our talent level this season. With better guys I think we could be dangerous.

Sure, the SEC, the NCAA and all of the world has conspired to screw A&M sports teams. If they didn't we would have many major sport national championships!!

Why do so many alums or supporters of such a successful and increasingly influential institution live with a life view that the whole world is out to screw us?

Bucky was hired after all the players had been picked over in the portal. He put together an entire team with what was left. He did an amazing job as Coach and will continue to do a great job for Texas A&M. He's already recruited two excellent players for next year out of high school and he will hit the portal hard this year and put together a far Superior team then we had this year. The future is bright.
