I know people will say winning solves all but we won at a good clip this year with a less than optimal roster and the support was not close to what i hoped for. 2000+ empty seats for a critical home game against Kentucky and then very small support in OKC which as tourney games go is pretty close to home.

I agree . Need a better plan for putting butts in seats . It simply shouldn't be that hard to do imo given the style.

How many of TAMUs first year coaches FAR exceeded expectations the way Bucky did?

If I'm not mistaken, they've extended his contract one (1) year (i.e., kept it at five years remaining) and the tenth (10th) highest paid coach in the SEC.

This year's team came tied for fourth (after Bucky being the last coach hired, portal player pool almost dry and picked 13th in preseason) and won an NCAA tournament game.

If we didn't show some type of gratitude (and what we did wasn't too much--imho), he'd eventually bolt when/if he piles up the wins here at TAMU.

We'll have to see how things pan out.
