What are the board's thoughts on this proposed 5 in 5 rule? On the surface it seems like an absolute win for college sports, it certainly makes roster planning easier for coaches. It will certainly throw this year's sports portals into mayhem though, if it passes.
Do you see this as an advantage or disadvantage to Texas A&M in any way?
Any thoughts as to why the NCAA zeroed in on this 5 in 5, other than the Trump executive order? It makes me wonder if we are going to see a whole slew of similar rules passed aimed at other glaring eligibility issues.
For the legally inclined members of this board, does this have any chance of holding up in court?
I know this is a basketball thread, but how do you see this impacting the other sports?
