Skip beat us and Schloss twice in Omaha and everyone here acting like he's no good lol. The guy is a great coach….and 100% a players coach who they love and a solid human being.

Would be very pleased.

If you average both of their stuff out to the same time line, Childress was more success here than Skip is at OU, no matter which way you slice it (except OU *almost* winning CWS). Better win percentage, more regionals, more super regionals, same CWS appearances. (And yes- I know he has less resources at OU)

If it's Skip, I'll continue to be an Aggie Baseball fan, but this seems like a consolation prize in a big way. It's not splashy, he's not more consistent, he's not from a power baseball school.

He had a great year. But what other great year has he had? He's been there long enough to not just be rebuilding.

I agree about Heefner. Certainly a better choice. Dude has dominated D1 baseball at a private college with few resources.

Not happy about OU coach. But definitely not a bad coach. Guy has made the CWS finals and Heefner hasnt gotten close to that.

If it is Skip Johnson, I would guess they will let it slip out late tonight. Kind of like the Friday bad news dump in politics. That way people go through the grieving process before they have to answer any questions on Monday.
