I move that we quit talking about the guy.

We should only talk about the texas coach when we are in texas game week. Until then, why?

I am part of the problem and you're the victim...

This could be a prime example of the karma that he so richly deserves.

But I hesitate because tu (whether we like it or not) is a legitimate top 5 all time baseball program with several national titles won over a number of years. Their baseball program is actually what they think their football program is. And the Sip **** is a very good coach. Will he be able to overcome the hit on his reputation (a hit that was self-inflicted)? I suppose that will be the first sign of the karma that he deserves coming, if he is unable to recruit players to his program.
I get what you're saying, but can we stop propagating their "muh all time record" narrative?
They haven't won jack in 20 years and we've owned them for the last 10. Today's players give no F's about what old man Gus won when he was shuffling out to the mound in the days of Duran Duran.

Jose "Duran" Duran was only about 17 years ago.

They're also spending more money than anyone else.

He's going to have success there. Whether or not we care about that is going to depend on how successful we are. We absolutely have the potential to be a dynastic baseball program

I am not really talking about the all-time record. My point is that they have been a consistent winner. I expect that to continue. To what level, I have no idea.

Fair point, and you are right on both counts. I am just past my limit on seeing that they are the greatest team ever…

I'd put SC and LSU above them.

Actually Texas is arugably the best baseball program in the history of the NCAA.

And it is beyond the prestige of their football history 100%.

Thing is, they have just sucked for the last 6 years. But compared to football, their baseball program has been FAR more successful in modern times, too.

Yes, you could easily argue LSU or FSU but USC is who I would pick due to 12 natties. But Texas has all time historical winning % and maybe CWS appearances I think.

But at this age of NIL,I do NOT think that storied history is much of a selling point. What have you done for me lately?
