This is not to be overlooked.

Bringing back almost the entire team is going to set us up very well next year, but it will probably result in an imbalanced roster for 2026, requiring significant portal additions to fill the gaps. That's not as big of a concern as it would have been in the past, but something to keep an eye on. We've put ourselves in a position where Earley might be very successful next year, but see a dropoff the following year. It's the right thing to do, given that you never pass up a chance to play for a championship, but we should buckle in for some bumps in the road in following years.

Brent and Bohls tag teamed the story of POS leaving, why do you think he'd have anything negative to say about his homey?

Schloss and Texas were recruiting HS recruits as soon as he and CDC agreed on the move. Thats the reason he actually got caught. That's the reason recruits made the change very soon after the change was announced.

100% correct on the HS recruits. And I believe they "assumed" that a few players were no-brainers to transfer - like Jace, GG, possibly Sorrell and Kent. I don't think any of those players would have followed him to tu. They could have possibly gone to another school, but once Earley was hired they decided to return to A&M.

Chip Brown basically said they were getting Gavin and Sorrell. Also bragged about them getting them using NIL.

One week later. Uses the same verbiage but replaced Texas with A&M.

Not discounting that some of our kids wanted to stay regardless and wouldn't have gone there of all places anyway. Still, props to our leadership and major props to our NIL folks stepping up to keep this group together. They are no doubt a major part of winning all these head to heads vs tu.
