That being said, I've been VERY impressed with Trev Alberts to date. Maybe he has perfected the art of faking sincerity, but he has really seemed to be the real deal. So very professional!

It's not sarcasm. They genuinely believe Schloss flipped who he wanted (the HS recruits), forced us to overpay for those unwanted, and gave back Earley because no one else wanted our coaching job.

I will never forget Kirk Bohls responding to someone on Twitter back when it was being leaked that we were leaving for the SEC. He said, "You have to have an invite first" suggesting that we did not and that the SEC wouldn't invite us.

So his bias towards us has tainted his reporting yet again.

Here is how I look at it. uta was envious of A&M, so they weaseled into the world we live in. Then they couldn't find their own baseball coach, so they poached ours via a prior relationship. They just can't do anything on their own. They are incapable of original thought.

I am sure Bohls was right as far as uta wanting to steal A&M's soul. It is only because uta, you know, doesn't have one. But you know, they even ****ed that up.

Next thing you know, they'll want to move their campus to College Station, just so they can see better how A&M goes about its business.

I retweeted a bunch of his totally wrong hot takes about us joining the SEC. Chump Brown blocked me too.

My grandparents got both. Grandma was strictly a Post reader and Grandpa like the Chronicle. I'm pretty sure the only time Grandma touched the Chronicle was to pull coupons out.

Similar situation in Dallas. The Times Herald was a liberal rag and the Morning News was a better business paper. Times Herald goes under, then the Morning News immediately hires their staff and takes a hard left turn to become the Times Herald v2 with a strong sip orientation. Never understood that and eventually dropped it altogether in a rage.

I'm sure it's not lost on Trev that tu killed partial qualifiers when they joined the big 12.

And that was pretty much the end of Nebraska footballs dominance.

They hate the sips as much as we do.

(My wife is from Nebraska and we go there every year. They hate that school in Austin)

I'd imagine he tried and honestly had a few ready to follow. Earley getting the job definitely changed the outlook for them as I'm certain the players, who are Aggies, weren't dying to head that way in the first place but the unknown might have made it tough to pass up.

So they got zero active players and 3 recruits and the recruits could very well not be firm out of this ? Is that the net impact on our roster? That's joke territory right there imo.

Shows you that he was recruiting for himself and not the school for this past season. This fact is a stain on his record. For the past year, he's been recruiting these recruits personally and not to the A&M program. Really despicable.

They went hard after our portal guys and failed miserably. That was target 1, the core of his former team that came up just short of a championship. We defended this better than I imagined we would to be honest - not a single deflection so far.

It makes sense that his next target would be the kids he recruited. There's still lots of time here but yes so far he's been pretty successful.

I like our strategy of keeping the core together to give Coach Earley every opportunity to have major success immediately. You can ignore the future but the portal certainty changes the calculus of where to spend time and money.
