Suicide squeeze! Runner was coming all the way.....if no bunt or no foul ball, runner would likely be tagged out!

imagine a softball forum, each game gets it own thread. We can have a thread to discuss recruiting, we can have a thread to discuss other sec matches, opponents etc., we can have a general discussion about the sport, people can ask questions, tips, advice, we can have a thread for high school softball, one for pro softball, one for coaches to discuss strategy, and all sorts of stuff! It's how you grow the sport!cs69ag said:

Personally I prefer it here. Keeps softball team exposed to the more casual softball fans who may not venture to a softball only board.
While softball has a history of success on the field. Baseball also has a history of a large fan base over the past 35 years or so. Getting more of those to also follow softball is good for the team

Nothing prevents this now. If enough softball traffic occurs on this board then TexAgs will likely consider a separate Softball Board.
I'm all for growing the sport! Whatever brings eyes to Ford and her girls! I feel like when people give Aggie softball a chance, this is an easy team and coach to root for!
Yes keep it here but have a thread for each game or at least each series. No reason to just have one thread for the season.
Their profile is growing for sure. They could be Top 5 as early as the next poll after this weekend. Also, players like Mac Barbara are already getting a lot of attention across TexAgs and softball nationwide.

That is already being done. We went to a season thread a few years ago, because there wasn't much traffic. A series/weekend/tournament thread was added this season because there seemed to be enough traffic to warrant it. It seems to be working well.
I think there would actually be MORE Exposure with a separate forum on this board.
The casual fan will find it with even a little interest. And as stated above, the real fans will expand
the topics and thus the interest and exposure!
