The no out check swing pop up to first…the 3rd such unproductive at bat with 2 runners on base should lend itself to riding the pine from this point forward. Maybe not to last year's standard but these guys are too good to stay at this level. The fielding is a major concern though, amongst quite a few minor ones.

I don't disagree with you that Kash has been bad, but maybe he could at least catch balls thrown to him at first unlike binderup….
Not anymore. Kash has played corner OF plenty, and Henseler is back at 3B. Binderup.is a very inexperienced 1B, but that is his only position on the field.

Idk why you seem so confident he's even a defensive upgrade. He has been unimpressive with routine **** in left. Ground balls under his glove and fly balls he won't stand under. Wouldn't surprise me if he sucked at 1B too at this point. I don't trust anyone to do anything on this team right now.

He's more experienced at first base genius. And when neither is currently hitting, it would be great to at least have one player who can field his position. And fielding bad throws at first is part of fielding that position. Binderup cannot play first base currently.
I haven't been this disappointed with a team in the beginning of a season since the '95 football team.

I assumed Kash would go to first when Sorrell comes back. If Erickson can handle left (which honestly, I don't know I don't remember him having any issues tonight but I also don't really remember much going out that way), move Kash to first now. I want Bindy to be great but not at the expense of games. He was far from the only fielding problem tonight though.

If I remember correctly, we did the same song and dance last year with Binderup and he got benched after he sucked
