Regardless of the what happens in the bottom half that was a much better performance from the pen especially considering the fielding. The bats I have confidence will eventually turn it around. Maybe not to last year's standard but these guys are too good to stay at this level. The fielding is a major concern though, amongst quite a few minor ones.

When you choose to take a HIGHLY visible executive position, optics come with that.

We get you are the queen of white knighting. But absolutely, when the team you were essentially gifted is WiLDLY underperforming, it's going to come under scrutiny if you're not working 24 hours a day.

A head coach at A&M doesn't get the luxuries during the season dads with lower profiles get.

That's just reality. And that's what the money is for.
Since this is your position, what exactly should Earley doing that he isn't getting done those few hours a week he helps coach his kids LL team?

For starters additional batting practice and one on one film study with each hitter to go over what needs correcting. Obviously whatever amount they're doing now isn't enough.
Their are time limits in which the coaches can work directly with the players outside of games during the week.
