As long as this team performs within SEC play.

They can lose every single game for all I care prior to SEC play. Is it ideal? Is it a bit embarrassing?

Sure. But all I care about is that this team qualifies to host a Regional.

I didnt expect this but I certainly expected Earley to be figuring things out into mid-season.

Cut the man and his players some slack. Start the *****ing, moaning and asking for him to be fired once they fall on their face within SEC play. PLEASE.

If you can't beat Rice with your back against the wall what makes you think we are going to compete against literally the deepest conference in baseball?

Well the two other SEC schools I've watched this weekend are going to run rule us

I'm not embarrassed at all. It's college baseball, for heaven's sake. I love this team and I love our school, but the way our programs perform on the field, court, pool, etc. doesn't embarrass me ever. Life is way too short to get embarrassed by what 18-22 year old young adults do in an athletic competition.

What does embarrass me is how - for example - the yell leaders act, both on and off the field. The social media cringe-worthy videos and the flouncy twirling around on national TV are an extreme embarrassment for me. Those dudes are supposed to be front-and-center representatives of the university, yet time and time again they disgrace the school. I would trade all wins in every sport for a set of yell leaders that didn't make my skin crawl.

Anybody who watched Johnny Jolly dance around after stuffing a telegraphed dive into the line while down 77-0 would never be embarrassed by anything on our baseball field.
