We're not toast because we haven't played a conference game yet. If we go 0-3 this weekend, then we are toast......burnt toast. Go 1-2 and we're probably toast. Go 2-1 then we are back on track. Go 3-0 and we can start the host discussion again.

Agree, but I'm not sure going 3-0 even starts host discussion quite yet w so many other teams in SEC off to a much better start (depends on how they do). Yes, Bama is 17-1 and now ranked higher than us, but so is UT, LSU, Pigs, UF, tu, UGA, OU ... all have 1 loss or less (UT undefeated)...think Vandy has 3 losses and Ole Miss with 2, etc.....we are way down in the pecking order).

Quite amazing to have 6 losses and still be in the top 25 as close to practically impossible to get to top 8 for Super Regionals (which is crucial). Huge hole to dig out of, but on paper have the talent...they have to perform and start taking SEC series week by week.

Hopefully its starts 'now'.

This year cannot meet the expectations we had before the year started. But it could exceed them!!!

Our problem isn't the players. You can be quite competitive with what most sources called the best roster in baseball (pre season).

Problem is the coaching/leadership. Can put whoever you want on the team, wouldn't be able to win the title with these coaches / AD at the top.
