S chloss tried to - during the 2024 season - to get our players to go with him to Texas? They all knew he was leaving prior to the cws?

Is that really true ?

There's lots of rumors. There's people who say there is proof. There's been no proof presented for anyone to see.

Some players definitely knew he was being shady. Others knew nothing until the day it happened.

Why not? He took A&M to the world series last year and almost won it all. He created a top team and developed a lot of players... pretty solid selling points. It's all about the coaching. Add up their NIL, commitment to winning by hiring a top staff, not sure why anyone wanting to play in Texas would go somewhere else.

A&M's pitch: coaches here are like buddies / friends and everyone likes each other. We hired the popular coach with zero qualifications to lead. You got to chose if you want to play for a title and go to the MLB with development or going to a big name school and hang out with the cool players / coaches as your talents get wasted on the sidelines.

Fact: POS was recruiting sip players to stay and play for him this year while still coaching us in the regular season and into the regionals.

That being the case, he was assuredly recruiting some of our guys to Austin.

Yes it is fact. Yes texags had the info and pulled back before reporting it. Yes texags gaslit the fans by saying "Schloss has already damaged his reputation enough."

If this is true we really do deserve the little brother moniker and we are not a serious fan base. Why do we think it's a moral high road to not expose the truth?

I think the real truth is there are other prominent peeps who get exposed in the whole pos thing who sent the orders to let it go.

ask yourself if this happened to texas, LSU, Bama, Auburn, Tennessee, or Florida, would the receipts have come out? You damn right they would if they existed. A&M gets what it deserves. Either be cutthroat or get your throat cut. Every SEC team is thrilled that A&M got gutted by this.

Well, our current issues are 95% due to the POS issue so it is still quite relevant and fresh. He was mentally already in Austin during the CWS and walked right up to the line of throwing the series.

The athletic director fired a guy that ******nozzle liked and told him that if he wasn't happy with the progress of the program's facilities to hit the door.

He did.

How is rehashing what was discussed ad nauseam last summer (and even in at least a couple threads earlier this spring), whether it was all absolute fact or mostly just specious speculation, going change what is going on now with this team now?
