Just awful. Pop ups and Ks kill more innings. That's the equivalent of 4+ innings of nada. If we wind up hitting the average of 16, 5+ innings of nada. No wonder we have trouble scoring.

We've got the combined problem of batters who do not have confidence and are not seeing spin well and add to that the significant stretching of the outside corner of home plate by the ump. His calls s**k!! I will say that almost all of the Vanderbilt staff look as good or better than any arm we have on our team. With 2 strikes, the Ags get nothing but unhittable pitches that are regularly being called strikes.
