I have officially thrown in the towel on the season. Done with baseball until we get a real coach to lead & develop a team. A majority of team doesn't slump like this, a majority of team does not struggle seeing a baseball, make errors weekend after weekend this far into a season. Players have to play but a real program needs leadership. Can't take listening to another post game presser that sheds no insight and god forbid some passion. Maybe Earley is built for this kind of baseball, I'm not and nor should the students & alum.

I love these kids and their talent. But, we failed them with our coaching hire. I'm going to be sick to my stomach when half of them transfer out and become the successful ball players they are meant to be for some other school. But, I won't blame them. This is on Trev for doing what was expedient instead of making a hard decision and hiring a coach with at least a modicum of skins on the wall. In essence Trev has also stunted the career path of Earley as well by putting him in a no win situation.

BS. Just nobody wants to be a bad guy and blame the players. It's on them. I am certain Earley doesn't coach Kent to whiff and strike out on ball 4 at the neck. Make a point. They need to suffer.

Earley chose Longley after seeing his ineptness at tu.

It was about this time 5 years ago that we had no Aggie baseball for the rest of the season. I concur. I'd rather have Aggie baseball than not.

1. These are not little leaguers . This is the best conference at the highest level of college baseball.
2. The players got exactly who they wanted for their head coach.

Agree. Players get paid to play and aren't performing. Coaches are allowing it to happen. Time to shake up the lineup. If you ain't performing, you are sitting - regardless of NIL $.
Going 15-9 the rest of the way to get to 0.500 is a tall order but doable. Without a major shakeup in the lineup, it ain't gonna happen EOS

I fully expect us to be 1-11 in conference play by sundown april 6th. Would love nothing more than to be wrong in a good way.

This reaches FAR beyond Earley, this a cultural problem and it always has been. We can never win the games that matter, in any of the three major sports. We are and have always been "overrated". We have always over promised and underperformed.
It's sickening watching schools with far less the resources we have achieve year after year, all while watching the exact same **** show at one of the wealthiest universities on the planet we call Aggieland.
Something MUST change and it starts at the very top. An entire revamping of our athletic department needs to happen. It will probably never happen, because it makes too much sense, but hey, on the bright side, we never lose a halftime!!
