So, was that 49 for the series?
Out of 81 outs, 49 were Ks?

This team is really testing me on this but bad Aggie baseball is better than no Aggie baseball.RGLAG85 said:It's still baseball, and I'll always watch baseball.jkag89 said:

That was also a season after going to Omaha in which we started the season highly ranked.W said:

Something has to change . This isn't on Earley. I would make this team run poles until they need iv's. **** or get off the pot.

Some of this has to be on Longley too though. The plunge our offense has taken is downright uncanny. I'm cool with him being demoted immediately at least. Let Earley take back over. Consider it his penance.Fquin said:MagnumLoad said:

This is absolutely on Earley. This is the culture he has created. He's clearly in over his head and has no business being a head coach at this level. He may get there someday. But, this program should never be a head coach's first foray at the position.

I love these kids and their talent. But, we failed them with our coaching hire. I'm going to be sick to my stomach when half of them transfer out and become the successful ball players they are meant to be for some other school. But, I won't blame them. This is on Trev for doing what was expedient instead of making a hard decision and hiring a coach with at least a modicum of skins on the wall. In essence Trev has also stunted the career path of Earley as well by putting him in a no win situation.

1. These are not little leaguers . This is the best conference at the highest level of college baseball.
2. The players got exactly who they wanted for their head coach.
How you say " but I won't blame them" .. tells me all I need to know about you.
Coaches don't play the game .
Yes this is on the coaches but it's on the players as well

Earley chose Longley after seeing his ineptness at tu.

Unlikely, yes, but I'll try to keep my fool's hope.
The Aggies were one win away from a Natty last season, how did that team get to that point without winning a game that mattered?Quote:
We can never win the games that matter, in any of the three major sports.
