I hope we can take 2 this weekend.

I have a 14, 13, and 10 yr old. We have lived and breathed Aggie baseball. It's their favorite sport to watch. For the past several years we've streamed each game we could and came into this season the same way.
But we all finally agreed its time to turn it off. It's not even that we're losing, we've watched plenty of games where we came up short, but its the apathetic manner in which this team plays. Was Friday our only come from behind victory this year? I check in and keep them updated but that's as far as it goes for now. There's no fire, grit, hope or determination in that dug out and hasn't been all year. Outside of Friday's outlier, once we get behind, its game over.

we'll find out more about the 2025 team in April
as bad as the 2000, 2005, 2006, and 2021 teams were...
they showed up to play the burnt orange. Three of those 4 teams beat a top 10 sip team
and the 2021 team won a road game at #1 Arkansas
.
I think the team will show up in Austin, if only because of the bad blood, but I fear there will be an epic beat down in Knoxville, which is too bad because this was the series I was really looking forward to, but we couldn't take the series at home with a lower dwelling SEC team, so I don't hold out much hope at Tenn, unless we try to steal a game throwing both Prager and Lamkin on the same night.
They are going to get embarrassed in Austin. Texas is a very good team this year.

Where do you get we have most of our team back? We had three starting position players back at the beginning of the year and a DH who had meniscus surgery lover the summer- and proceeded to tear it again. We lost one of those for the year in the first series and only started playing as DH last Saturday.
We lost 27 players from last year's team. We have a new 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, LF, RF, C. Our two best relievers are gone, two pitchers we planned to lean heavily on from the bullpen aren't playing- one out for the year with Tommy John surgery and one out indefinitely with some kind of knee issue. All of that with a new coaching staff that has obviously struggled.
from a casual fan this is what frustrates me the most. YES we have VERY talented guys on the Roster. But this is NOT last year's team. And to me it's not all on the coaching OR the players. It's a combo of both not stepping up. I'm still behind them 100%, and I think if a player steps up to be the leader (and I have in my mind who it SHOULD be, but he hasn't done it) the season could be better. Here's hoping for some W's this weekend!ldr said:TXAGBQ76 said:

This should be stickied to the top of every thread for the rest of the year.
Anyone who comes on here to ***** using this team was one win away from a championship, we were ranked number 1, or anyone could win with the talent we have doesn't know baseball.

We can't hit fb's or pretty much anything thrown. This is hard to watch just like buzz's crap ball.
Buzz finished fifth in conference and had a seed equivalent to hosting a regional if not super regionalPichael Thompson said:phatty26 said:
