We lost one of those for the year in the first series and only started playing as DH last Saturday.

We lost 27 players from last year's team. We have a new 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, LF, RF, C. Our two best relievers are gone, two pitchers we planned to lean heavily on from the bullpen aren't playing- one out for the year with Tommy John surgery and one out indefinitely with some kind of knee issue. All of that with a new coaching staff that has obviously struggled.

Anyone who comes on here to ***** using this team was one win away from a championship, we were ranked number 1, or anyone could win with the talent we have doesn't know baseball.

from a casual fan this is what frustrates me the most. YES we have VERY talented guys on the Roster. But this is NOT last year's team. And to me it's not all on the coaching OR the players. It's a combo of both not stepping up. I'm still behind them 100%, and I think if a player steps up to be the leader (and I have in my mind who it SHOULD be, but he hasn't done it) the season could be better. Here's hoping for some W's this weekend!

I have no idea how it has gone THIS badly this season. Schloss is hard to follow for anyone, much less a first time head coach, but I can't believe how bad it has been.

We clearly went the cheap…err…less costly route hiring our basketball coach. Maybe that will free up money to pay buyouts to Earley, Coach G, and Joni Taylor.

I, too, really, really, really like Coach Earley and badly wanted him to succeed. But I think it has become painfully clear that he is nowhere near SEC-ready. Yea, we've had injuries and other bad luck, but we look like we don't even belong on the same field as our conference opponents. It hurts…literally hurts…to watch this team.

Can we please leave this bum in Knoxville when the team flies back?
