Who is the next option? Time to give someone else an opportunity. Bear Harrison finally got an opportunity and last 12 games he's one of the best hitters in the entire country!

Binderup looks a little like my little league days. Decides to swing or take before the windup.

I'm sure he could hit to make the team. Maybe he can find his stroke.

I feel like I've been watching the guy bat .130 for 2 straight years. I'm assuming his play on the field is valued enough to keep him in the lineup

Nice hit but he's got to stop getting an out on the bases!

He literally just boosted his batting average back above .130

He sure did and then made a base running mistake like a little leaguer.

Bindy is full of surprises. Like not calling off the pitcher on a pop up to the mound.

I absolutely HATE seeing Binderup in the lineup. They couldnt teach him last year and he remains the same player this year.

He hit against Sam Houston but that's exactly why.

He is NOT a SEC caliber talent unfortunately. And our biggest weakness in the lineup.

We need Sorrell to play outfield. Schott permanent DH (he is slumped but FAR more capable than Binderup).

Definitely have one large missing player in the lineup. If only we had Gavin!!! This team would be hard to stop at their current rate of barreling balls.

Sorry Binderup....nothing personal. But you are CLUELESS and guessing at the plate.

He went 0/11 with 8 strikeouts in Knoxville.

I mean it was nice to see him get a hit vs Sam Houston but we really need Kash back and healthy.

Also, what's the deal with Isaac Morton? Would be huge to get him healthy and available in relief.

Yes Kash will be a HUGE boost for this team along with getting Sorrell back full strength on the defensive side. Should fill in the glaring gap in the lineup...m

We really are 2 hitters away from being very good.

Get Kash back and get Schott back in his groove.

Just don't think there's enough reliable arms in the pen right now. He had a solid era and showed the ability to get some swing and miss last year as a freshman. Not enough of a sample size this year.

Head scratcher. That was introduction to 1B 101 and he looked clueless.

This. And get Sorrell healthy enough to play LF.

Schott is going to be battling that knee all year, I'm hesitant to believe he'll get back to what he should be until his knee if feeling good. I hope he can, but it's not looking like it.

Schott won't get his groove back until Sorrell is on the outfield.

I guess everyone suddenly forgot about our pitching problems...and our fielding problems.

Has Galloway ever played 1B? I mean is there anyone else that can play over there until Kash comes back??? Apparently Earley doesn't like Berg at 1B either.

Our fielding problems were mainly 3 players.
3,4, 7 or 9.

Moving the guy who was playing 4 to 7, putting the guy who was 7 to 9, and we have an injury at 3. Once he comes back, we'll be better.

Our pitching overall has been pretty good. Most of our Ls were games if we had offense we would've won. Not all of them.

And it's really hard to pitch knowing if you give up runs you're going to lose.

They'll come around. And if they don't, oh well. Not the end of the world.

Schott got hot in the post season last year with a bum knee. It's not optimal, but Schott with a bum knee seems a better bet than a healthy Binderup at the moment. Probably just comes down to confidence: Schott has it, Binderup doesn't. I feel for the kid, but he probably should have signed for a small school where he could get on the field every day because that's the way to build confidence.

Brauny mentioned that he did call off the pitcher, he heard it from where he was standing at the game

You got the 2 R's but not the K in Kash?

J/K

He could, but he's barely above the mendoza line.

But it would be an improvement if Sorrel can play right.

He's shown he can catch a fly ball.

Binderup has shown he can't even do that.

If Sorrell can play in the field, Keil goes to left.

The suposition was when Sorrell can play in the field.

Farr is a marginally better hitter now, so put the 6'4" kid at first until Kash comes back.

Sorrell won't be back for a couple more weeks. Kash might be back next weekend. I'd rather put Bergevin at first over Bindy.
