the Gamecocks are in town for a big series vs. the maroon-n-white

the Ags have enjoyed a lot of success vs. Carolina recently

winning the last 3 series in 2019, 2022, and 2024

however A&M has never swept South Carolina -- the Ags could really use one this weekend

For some reason I'm not in we must sweep panic mode, but I am in we must win Game 1 panic mode. I'm not sure why. Maybe because of the run we're on. I feel like if we lose the mojo tonight it'll be very hard to win the next 2.

If we win 11 of our final 18 games, that puts us at 14 SEC wins and a lock for the tournament. 11-7 is absolutely attainable. Just win series.

This is the way. Cannot panic if we drop a game but we absolutely need to stack series. With our remaining schedule I don't think we'll have to worry about RPI at all.

I think the biggest part of the game 1 win would be confidence for Prager.

The Ags welcome the little guy Max Kaufer back to Olsen this weekend. I'd forgotten about he ended up at SCar until listening to Earley's TA interview today.

Looks like he hasn't played much and is really struggling at the dish. In 32 ABs (which is about what Gavin and Jamal have), he's slashing .156 / .313 / .325. I wish he'd stuck around but understand why he didn't. I wish him nothing but the best starting on Sunday.

Sad to read this. I always liked Max and hoped a new start elsewhere would jumpstart his college career. I wonder if he will try to reenter the portal in hopes a mid-major will give him a chance to play?
