If you look at the facts objectively, keeping Early is a tough sell

There is a big difference between a coach that inherited a poor roster and program in need of rebuilding vs a coach that takes over a loaded team and significantly underperforms. If this is what we get with a top 10 roster, I hate to see what we get when we don't. Time to move on. Bite the bullet and try to do better.

The Earley hire was the only way to retain that roster after SoggyBagel grenaded the program and abandoned them.

Exactly, a move made out of fear. Look at how great said roster has performed. We didn't make the move that was best for the program. Typical A&M decision process, fear based.
I know nothing!

No one wants to keep Earley. Even the ones in the denial phase this past week have finally moved to the acceptance phase.

I was the guy who had a reactionary post after TN and got a bunch of **** for it.

Then we hit the wall and took another crap in the bed. I looked brillant again.

Honestly, I am not going to overreact ever again with A&M sports. I have accepted the fact that we suck at the highest leadership levels and make horrible investments. I do not expect to win a Natty before my death in ANY mens sports other than track and equestrian. Womens? Completely different.

But I am not giving up on Earley or this team until it is over. Over? Means they are not playing baseball.

Then we can talk firing Earley. Consider the season, we would be COMPLETE IDIOTS TO KEEP HIM.

I still have mad, insane hope this this team makes a CWS run and Earley earns Year 2.
What the hell are you rambling about? We don't even have a men's equestrian team

You're never going to over react again? Every post you make is a maniacal overreaction

1. This roster is loaded with experienced MLB prospects.

This roster sucks. We have maybe 2 players who will play in the MLB. Schloss left us a trash roster.
Sorry, I think the bolded just isn't true at all. The roster is among the most talented we've ever had, kids didn't follow Schloss or portal out en masse, and by and large we did a great of keeping the returning talent and getting the best available out of the portal.

It hasn't worked out but I don't think it's a talent issue at all. Jace, Caden, Gravhovac, Sdao, Prager and Lamkin have a great shot to play at the next level. Moss and Wilson are likely to get a look as well. Of the fish TK and Farr have the stuff, even if Farr struggled mightily this first year...

Those were the choices.
1) Hire Earley and keep the roster.
2) Don't and don't.

"There are two sports at A&M where they will not waste time bc of a buyout if it's clear the coach needs replaced. Baseball happens to be one of those sports."

I hope you are correct. We have some history of being a respectable baseball program. Trev is from Nebraska, I don't know what he accomplished there, but hopefully he has learned and buys in that baseball is the 2nd most important sport in Aggieland.

We were thoroughly embarrassed by having POS leave and go to Austin, and to wallow in utter sucking for more years would be hard to take. After the waste of NIL this season, I doubt the BMA's gonna step up for another year of that without a change.
