So if we cut Earley loose, assume he ends up in Austin year as hitting coach

I'm not worried about Earley leaving, and i certainly don't care if the sips get him.

I'm worried that this will be Schloss' worst roster (look at his recruiting since he got there), and ours is about to suffer massive attrition.

Earley ends up back in Austin after a $4MM one year payday from the Ags. Insane and would be par for the course.

Yep…

And he'll somehow have success over there. Prolly win a natty or two….

We are a joke..this season was a joke..and now we start all over from scratch.

Fire Early…and while your at it..fire Trev too. I'm at a point where I say If we gotta rebuild, burn it all down and start again from the bottom

Our AD is an idiot. Yes fire him too.

Here's a thought: spend less time worrying about the sips. We play 3 games against them every year, and 27 against the rest of the SEC. Can't spend all your time focusing on one opponent. And, don't give me this proximity crap. LSU is our next closest opponent, and should worry you as much or more as the sips. Of course, as POS showed during his tenure, when we have the right leadership, our opponents will be worrying about us as much or more as we worry about them.

The OP was talking about Earley leaving for them. But thanks for the lecture, Dad.

I'll tell you right now, the powers that be at Texas A&M don't give two ****es about who's coaching this baseball team. All they care about, and will ever care about, is winning halftimes at football games. It's time for a new generation to take over the entire system from the TOP down. Until that happens "we are the Aggies, the Aggies are we", as it's been since 1939. Enjoy.

That's fine if he ends up there.

It's become very clear that it's Schloss's hitting system and Earley was the messenger based on this year's results. Like being an offensive coordinator for a Jimbo Fisher team
