Final analysis in women's softball is that a couple of ace pitchers can still dominate important series. If we can keep some of our good power hitters and pick up a real ace or two on the mound for next season, we should be in good shape. I think we really got screwed by having Liberty in our Region.

Liberty was not a top 16 team. If you can't beat them in your regional AT HOME, you (likely) couldn't beat an ostensibly better team in the Supers. Whether they should have been placed somewhere else is loser talk. They came here and it was our job to beat them. We didn't.

All true.
What else can be true is that they had 40+ wins 2 vs the Big, 2 vs the ACC, 1 vs B12, and 1 vs the SEC, had one if the best batting avg and HR totals....compare that to any other 2 seed and let me know what you find.
