Schloss played favorites too - except he was more vicious to those on the outside. Did we forget how he treated Travis Chestnut? That has been well documented back to his TCU days.

Schloss told Chestnut he had to bunt because couldn't hit the ball while at the CWS (or something to that effect). The pitchers didn't like him because he ignored them.

if I recall correctly, he told Spencer that he was the fattest most worthless lump of something he'd ever invited to campus.

Schloss was also nasty during pitching changes.

I think the tears for the 2022-2024 players have about run their course. Schlossnagle has been gone a full Aggie baseball season, and none of his players followed him to Austin. Instead, they went 11-19 in conference for their new coach. I am genuinely sorry for how he treated them, but I'm not terribly concerned about what they want at this point, and I don't understand the continued attachment to a group that underachieved more badly than any other I can remember in 35 seasons of watching Aggie baseball.

I think we've all seen who was behind our CWS runs, and he's coaching in Austin.

How he treated them??? We have totally screwed over a generation by caring about their feels so much. He took them to an opportunity to play for a national championship without their best player. I am sorry but they need to get over their feelings and learn to adult.

How can you have leadership in the ranks when there is no leadership at the top?

When I was at A&M, the athletes were always partying. Doubt things have changed that much.

College students party including the ones that do sports. Now of course it's not all the athletes but some do. My rule was always not during the season.

And of course, no one cares unless their are bad results.

Lester Hayes comes to mind. Sitting in the old Sports Club with a full length mink and hotties on each knee.

Don't mind the partying if it was after the series were over.

Far more disappointed in the stories about certain guys being able to sit out fall ball without accountability.

Who all are people talking about? Multiple players who sat out fall ball were not 100%.

If people have a beef, they need to name names.

Then he needs to name names. The only player I can think of who was 100% who sat out was Jace. And after Caden got hurt in fall ball, we all understood why Jace sat out.

Then he won't have a problem showing his cards.

It just sounds like Billy speak to me. It riles people up, increases engagement, and drives clicks. All while being vague and causing the masses to vilify student athletes.

I like Brauny but I don't have to agree with him all the time.
