Are you absolutely high?

I haven't started drinking yet, madam.

However RBI via HBP isn't "tearing the cover off the ball". He will heat up, I have no doubt, but he seems to be in a funk.

We, 100%, need his glove at first.

Binderup didn't work out of his playing everyday……

See also Abreu of the Astros and now Walker…. Playing everyday doesn't guarantee the guy works out of it either.

Binderup has a fraction of the talent of Grahovac, he'll work out of it

He doesn't need to be leading off then, for sure.

BA - ..353
OB% - .432
SLG - .514
OPS - .946
K -5

Yep, Gravin is sucking up the joint. Can you argue that TK or Farr might be a better fit leading off? Sure but let's not pretend that Gravin is some sort of anchor on the offense and Earley is being pigheaded keeping him in the lineup especially considering how well he is fielding over at 1B.

That average is inflated with subpar pitching. Tenn Tech, TAMU CC, and Lamar arms aren't Virginia Tech or even the first two guys they ran out for Penn.

He went 1-4 against Penn on Friday, O fer against them on Saturday. O fer again last night. Sure, he got 2 hits against Penn Sunday, but their pitching staff was already tapped by then, IMHO.

I bet even he would tell you he didn't do his job last night leading off…. But whatever, man. If he was consistently getting on base every game, and scoring runs *every game* that would be one thing. He's definitely not tearing the cover off the ball as a leadoff hitter consistently. He needs to be moved down at the very least.

Using that logic every hitting stat concerning the team is base on sub-par pitching.

Nowhere in my post did I state he is hitting as well as we would like nor did I state he should be hitting lead off. All I said is he is not exactly sucking nor is he the anchor on the offense y'all seem to be claiming he is based upon the angst expressed in many TexAgs posts.

Don't really get why Kiel isn't your obvious leadoff guy. And idk how you fit him in the lineup but really like what Farr has been able to do with his opportunities.

Glad to see Hacopian back in the lineup tho

Brauny touched on it on the radio. Said with Grahovac and Sorrel behind him you don't necessarily need to steal, but with him lower in the lineup you can use his speed more.

With GG and Sorrel behind him, he could also score from 1st

Plus Grahovac really needs Sorrell behind him so he can see more fastballs.
Why couldn't Sorrel bat behind GG if Kiel was leadoff? Plus with Kiel on base and a threat to steal it would likely get Gavin more fastballs as well. I don't get why Earley continues to try and force a square peg into a round hole over and over.

PERFECTLY SAID!

And I didn't say he was a boat anchor….

I said he wasn't seeing the ball well / isn't doing great against quality pitching…

Im gonna need a pirated stream for this game immediately.

The Bruce bolt series makes me mad because apparently last night they implemented the ghost runner rule and broadcasters are praising it.
