Virginia Tech had an interesting series against Rutgers last week. In the first game they got run ruled 16-1 in 8 innings, then won the next two games by one run each, one of them in 10 innings.

Their Friday night starter has been Brett Renfro. In their opener against St. Mary's he pitched 2 innings and gave up 2 earned runs. He started the blowout against Rutgers and lasted 3 innings, giving uo 1 earned run (their bullpen gave up 11 runs in the last two innings of it). So he seems to be on a low pitch count. Last year he made 3rd string all-ACC.

If the Aggies can stay patient at the plate like they have done since Sunday's Penn game, that pitch count will take care of itself and let the Aggies feast on the bullpen.

I TOLD THEM! I was even mostly polite about it. They've "escalated" the ticket and if anyone becomes available, they move us up. Still bull***** If you cause an issue, you should fix it IMMEDIATELY.
