I like that they do that, and it's cool that it works for them, but who would we do this with? Texas and Baylor? Houston and Rice? Sam Houston/SFA/Texas State/UTSA/Lamar? Doesn't sound appealing to me.

Baylor would be fun to just do a annual home and home with. I also love the games against Rice at Reckling

You could even do what we did against Air Force a few years ago with a Tuesday/wednesday series early against a common opponent like Rice/UH/Baylor

I'd be good with a home game Tuesday night against Baylor in early March, then a road game at Waco in late March/early April. Or DBU if you want to go mid major

Tech is too far away. I'd like to see DBU return to our schedule, maybe TCU as well. Baylor does nothing for me - doesn't trip my trigger at all. Rice, UH, and Texas State already make regular appearances on our schedule.

We are fortunate to have so many Tuesday-worthy opponents near us. Throw in Sam Houston, Tarleton, Texas Southern, PVAMU, Houston Christian, and UT-Arlington and it doesn't make much sense to do anything too crazy during the midweek.

TCU and DBU are probably the most prominent right now. We already play UTSA and we are going to Tx State this year and if I remember correctly we played there in 2024.
