Yes and no - nice to be indoors so no weather concerns (rain and can be cold in February). Also more central location in DFW (especially for those of us on the western side of town).

There was a small tournament in Cleburne this weekend with Tarleton, Texas State and a couple others. Maybe we could go there.

That Tarleton - Creighton game yesterday was fun. Was there with my sons (one is a fish at Tarleton) before our game. Stadium has a whopping 1750 seats.

On Saturday, the wife and I made the hour and a half drive to Strawn from Arlington to try the chicken fried steak at Mary's Cafe. If ever in the area, it's a must go to. You won't leave hungry or disappointed.

You had better luck than me. I drive by Strawn 10-20 times a year (have land out by Abilene) and have tried it several times, hoping to finally get a decent one there - it's not been good (very greasy) the times I've been, which is disappointing given the reputation.

Kind of reminds me of the chicken-fried steak place (can't remember the name now) in Snook that everyone swore by back when I was at A&M in the 90s; it was a good excuse to get out of town for a couple hours but the actual CFS was spare.

That being said I have not been to Mary's but will give it a go at some point when we are out at PK.

Yeah…Arlington Stadium was brutal until they put in the third deck behind home for those of us who enjoyed the sumptuous outfield cheap seats!!!
