Same reason that when my pitching coach adopted a "walk a guy, run a mile" policy that my HBP rate went up 300%. ...cause it ain't a walk

Maybe. Everyone thought we had a Deggs problem for the longest time, but after he left, our offense was anemic while he went and did big things and people wanted him back. So it's hard to jump on any base coach now.
