Dang what in the world happened to Dallas Baptist last night?

First the change is from Sunday, not day to day. Second, it is more difficult to make jumps in RPI when a team is already in a good position considering those teams around you are likely to also be playing well. And finally, RPI does not only factor in how you played over a stretch but how the teams you've already played have done. I'll assume the big LSU bump is due teams in which they have good wins against having good wins since Sunday.

If Vandy does exactly that... 1-2 each vs the good teams and sweeping the bad their projected RPI is only low 80s. 16 SEC wins and outside the RPI realm of consideration. That's crazy. What may save them this year is that DSR and KPI are both items the committee considers now and Vandy is MUCH higher in those metrics. Like 40 spots higher.twk said:
There is a guy that has put together a composite baseball schedule that makes it pretty easy to compare.Inspired the annual football helmet schedule, I present the 2026 SEC Baseball Helmet Schedule. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ pic.twitter.com/Kq06ugymvW

So, looking at that, I asked myself, who has Missouri and South Carolina left on their schedule? That team has to have the easiest run in. The only team that has them both left is Vanderbilt, which is interesting, because Vandy's RPI is so bad, it seems very unlikely that they will get in range to even make the field. But, I guess we might find how much conference standing matter if Vandy goes, say, 9-6 (6-0 against Mizzou and South Carolina, then 3-6 against UK, t.u., and Bama) to finish 16-14, but with an RPI around 50. Would they make the field? Would they be in the hosting discussion?

Texas fans did not show up for their home game today. I'm sure POS will cry about it after the game.

But, but, but their X post yesterday said they show up and have a good time! So much more so than the pathetic Aggies who sit through rain delays.

It really is. Since POS has been there has he been whining about the lack of progress in stadium renovations? I can guess the answer, but anyone know for sure?

Do announcers deliberately thinknof the dumbest thing they can say, and then makes sure it comes out on the air?
Guy on the tu/Gump game just said that being physically imposing makes it easier to pitch multiple days in a row. I'd get fired for calling out my partner too much.
