Despise the Whistler with every ounce of my being but can't help but think them winning the last two in Lexington helps our cause a little bit. Will be pulling for them the rest of the way

Seeds 1-8 regionals will be paired with seeds 9-16 in the supers. I could see them putting us against each other in a super. The NCAA likes to save transportation costs, too.

Hopefully, the NCAA says let's save a potential matchup for Omaha.

Probably so, if we get as many hosts as we usually do. But, if both the Aggies and the sips are top 8, then we don't have to worry about that particular matchup until Omaha.

Great to see the sippers fall to Gump's bama for at least 1 game. That rain out game I feel the Ags would have won gainst the sips.; bummer as our records are now only 1 game difference. Keep on Keepin on Aggies. Wilson, Grahovac, Sorrel, PITCHING...good night nurse!

What a difference an injury-less season makes...So happy the Ags are lookin good. Wish the esipntu commentators would take notice, but theyre too goo goo gah, gah over the sips and the swamp kitties.

We are now in sole possession of second place in the SEC because we completed a road sweep of LSU, and Texas lost the final game of their home series against Alabama. I think we would have won the cancelled final game of the home series against Texas, and it would have increased our SEC record to 13-5 and decreased Texas's SEC record to 11-7. That would have meant a tie with Georgia for first place and a two-game lead over Texas for second place.

USC-Nebraska isn't a traditional rivalry. But both programs have been pretty good this century and it is now a great matchup.

The Big 10 is dumb for expanding across the entire continent and having to pay all of the "pissant" sports to travel 3000 miles to play each other. But adding the west coast teams definitely helps the Big 10 in baseball RPI-wise and prestige-wise.

I could see your first comment being serious and the second sarcastic. Or the second could be serious and the first sarcastic, haha.

I know there is a lot of baseball left, but this is just for sh&ts and giggles talk….

How bad will it suck to have that one game cancelled and not made up? I mean, I know they aren't making it up, but we are a 1/2 game back of being tied for the confidence lead. If us and Georgia happen to win all of our remaining games, then we will end up that 1/2 game back. (Again,'it's highly unlikely either program will win all of their remaining games….so just talking out loud)

I guess we would miss out on a conference co-championship trophy but the seedings for the conference tournament would remain the same with the dawgs taking two of three from us.

Conference trophies are nice but at this stage, finishing second in the SEC keeps us on track for everything these guys are fighting for. Hosting a regional and super, and then . . .

I know the ultimate goal is Omaha…I get it. But being the SEC, I'm sure they would like to have 2026 SEC Champions by their name as well, I mean, being the best conference, it does carry some weight. It's a grind to get through this conference! It's not like UCLA who just has to show up each week to get their wins
