I'll all for saying our pitching staff is not elite but jeez. This is actually one of our better pitched games (and stretches of time dating back a few weekends)

I'm not crying. We were discussing why Gravin was swinging at pitches that looked like balls once he got two strikes. I did say he was mostly OK and the calls did not favor either team. His bad misses have helped us tonight.

OK fair enough, but it has nothing to do with umpire calls. Gavin swings at misses at not great pitches a lot. Our own pitching was fine till it was clear we weren't doing anything on offense so we saved our better arms (thankfully). Just a bad night. But also not surprising given our recent run
