Also it'd be funny if Lale's stunt with the TRO somehow causes them to unearth stuff from the last two seasons.

The actions of a few affect the whole group. Did everyone know this was not on the up and up. Yep. Did anyone have physical proof or the ability to stop it? (Apparently the JV family that turned the violations over to UIL did).

This 100% lies on the coach and the district. This is not a new thing with those that facilitated the building of a "Super Team". They knew who they were getting in bed with. Ego and power are the story here. Funny thing is GHS was going to make a run at another championship without any of the transfers.

A handful of really great kids were collateral damage here.

I'm pretty sure the guy who has been flying players from all over the country to his sons travel ball teams since they were 10u had some knowledge of this. It's literally the guys MO.

Lale sr seems like a chode. And I can bet that he is fighting this because everybody knows he's responsible.

Considering that this is the public high school my kids are zoned for, I'm going to have a strong opinion on it.

Of course he knew, he had "coached" not only the player in question, but the other transfers as well. As questionable as his ethics and morals are, he saw an opportunity to keep doing what he always does, Win at all cost.

Everyone involved on the baseball side of this in the district knew the reputation and yet still chose to go along with it.
