Oklahoma and Texas Tech have top 2 NIL. They may win the CWS or fail to make the CWS as they are both 1-1 in their Super Regional. We have top 10 NIL and that is plenty to be in the CWS. No matter if you are top 2 or top 10 NIL, your team has to gel and have a culture that wants and accepts nothing less than excellence.
Thank you 12th Man for all the love and support. I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining. Excited for my next chapter!

After much prayer and thoughtful consideration, I have decided to enter the transfer portal as a graduate student. I could not be more grateful for my time as a Sun Devil, but I am excited to see where this next chapter takes me! pic.twitter.com/07j3LxG93e

Regardless of any "plan" we might have, nobody should be shocked if there are additional departures.

It seems imperative that pitchers today need to throw close to 70 mph as a starting point. In addition, they need a solid change up. I can't think of a single pitcher that has developed an effective change up while at A&M. Had Kennedy developed a solid change up she would have been so much more effective.

I think you are mis-remembering that situation. Kennedy actually did develop a decent change. What makes an effective pitcher is someone who can work.in opposing directions and change speed. We need someone who has rise/drop or curve/screw and change up. I much prefer rise/drop combo as its more difficult to hit changes in the vertical plane, in my opinion.

Yes!
In today's game you don't need a 70+ MPH flamethrower. A mid 60's pitcher with a good riseball and consistent offspeed/changeup in the toolbox is just as good and much easier to find/coach up.
And they're out there.
