AK will most likely be the catcher!!!

Maddi will lose a few pounds and pick up a step and be an outfielder!
She works there everyday.

Maddi could also rotate with Mya as the DH - 1B

Dont be suprised if we field an entirely NEW outfield - MUST BE UPGRADED!

This stinks, but I get it. Dee Dee was always wiling to gear up and she and Taylor were very vocal in the dugout. But if the coaches weren't seeing anything in them to grow the team, and they're retiring instead of portaling, that says a lot.

Sounds like Trisha's trying to open up the roster and hoping for some NIL money to bring in some transfers and new rookies.

Is there a roster limit? I'm a fan of stats, but that's not one I know of. I'm curious about how many they can bring in via the portal.

I also understand dollars are in play, but genuinely curious about the roster.

Most of the kids are on instagram. Facebook has become a place for us oldies to repost, but insta is where the kids are. You have to figure out their profile names.

And twitter is where the sports writers are that break the news.

Some of them it's been a direct "run it back" type post (that was the case for Anns and Maddie), the others have been their comments on teammates posts saying things like "so excited for next season with you", "can't wait to take the field again with you next year", things like that.

In regards to AK, she (and Mya) are both the type that it wouldn't surprise me one bit to not see anything "official" because they are locked in and aren't even considering leaving.

I don't think Azua would be more recruited than if either of our Sidne or Sydney went into the portal.

Azua faced 3 SEC teams this year with the following results:
Azua 4.50 ERA and 3.00 HR every 7 IP

In SEC games for us this season:
Peters 3.00 ERA and 1.04 HR every 7 IP
Lessentine 3.45 ERA and 1.78 HR every 7 IP

Azua had mixed results against other big conference schools. Yes, more good outings than bad. I could put together the numbers, but in conclusion, if she came here it would be to compete with Peters and Lessentine not be an ace in front of them.

I know Ags had the No. 8 recruiting class this year but does anyone know if there will be any immediate impact players? We really need immediate help and even though we were ranked No. 8 I'm disappointed we couldn't pull in a Top 10 player that could immediately make a difference. Our highest rated player was Torres at No. 32 nationally. She looks like she might be able to contribute immediately but I'm not sure about anyone else. Hopefully several step up.

Only one incoming freshman pitcher. Did some basic searching, good recruit but on the surface doesn't appear to be someone that is going to push Les or Peters down the pecking order early. Not sure though, anyone know much about her and what we should expect?

They need a lot of upgrades on defense as well. Team is awful defensively and this is exacerbated when your pitching is bad.
