Hopefully he adds his name to our list of pitchers who have a randomly elite outing in the postseason after a lackluster regular season.
Lamkin
Prager
Dettmer

Seems like he's been having trouble with his plant foot moving on delivery. Hope the mechanics get worked out. He's also been throwing across his body too much missing often low and outside. Here's to getting the kinks out and a good outing.
Is this something you heard/read he was working on or something you noticed?
Just noticed from his last few outings. My dad was a pitching coach for the Rangers organization for nearly 20!years. I tend to watch the pitchers very closely lol.

Is the over/under for Sdao HR set at 2.5 today? I think that would be a solid outing.

I definitely don't to have great knowledge of pitching but I've always suspected Shane must have some easy "tells" for the hitter because his velocity and movement are at good enough to get more misses than he does. I imagine his moving his plant foot location significantly to get more on his sweeping breaking ball would qualify. Batters certainly don't seem fooled by the pitch very often and it kills him on 0-2/1-2 counts.

I think this article helps with a context we might not get
A transparent report on. Not sure if this is some of what Sdao is working through:

Announcing a pitcher has tells is a not a friendly gesture on fan board on the day of an important game he is starting.

There's a reason Sims hasn't pitched in a month, Moss will go in game 2.

Any updates on Sims? I cant help but wonder if this is partially a reflection of his status.
He will go game two
That has not been announced, that is assumed

I'm drawing a blank but who was the pitcher that blanked Miami to get the Ags to the if necessary game in the '95 Coral Gables Regional? Sean Leonard? ColoradoMooseHerd I need your help!
To add some context this was back in the era of the six team regionals and the Ags lost the opening game to 5 Seed FIU and got into a high scoring gave against 6 Seed UMass. So by the time Ags got to our fifth game of the regional the pen was tired.

Sadly, the harsh reality is that the young man is a shell of his previous self since his surgery. He's not been the same since then. He's more of a liability than an asset, and he knows this. For the sake of the team, Early needs to sit him for the rest of the tournament.
