Dr Rev,
I've been using your "covid cocktail" of vitamins/supplements for about 8 months and honestly haven't felt better overall in quite awhile. I wanted to ask about something and see if you had any knowledge or information on it, though.
I've been getting all of the supplements from Amazon but have not been able to find NAC recently. Maybe 3 weeks ago, it started leaking out that the FDA had sent warning letters to several "hangover cure" manufacturers stating that NAC was originally a drug (or some such) and cannot be part of a supplement. Amazon evidently started systematically removing all NAC products from their site (removing "shipped and sold by Amazons" last, of course) because of concerns over this.
In trying to find out what happened, I am now seeing that there are a couple of studies underway that are showing promising results with severe covid cases and that is making it appear as though this action may just be a play to block the use of NAC so drug makers will have a market.
I didn't realize it was useful for something other than prevention in your cocktail but after losing it from my daily vitamin group, it became obvious pretty quickly that it was making a big difference with my chronic sinusitis/allergic rhinitis so I'd hate to not be able to use it.
Thoughts?
