Cases are spiking, but deaths are just about staying flat.
Cases and deaths all over Europe are growing exponentially for most countries, including many that were hit hard. There's definitely something else at play here beyond policy, as some countries haven't seen a first OR second wave. If their policy (Finland and Norway) isn't all that different than Germany, then what's the difference? The Big12Ag said:https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/germany/twk said:

The CDC recs came from years of pandemic planning under Bush and Obama. They were thrown out the window due to politics. Sweden is really the only country that followed what we invested in.
This is straight from the CDC:
Yep, It's awful. Goalposts keep shifting and are now at the "well, it MAY do long term damage so it's just as bad as death" or something since only .01% of people who get it die.cone said:

Are you trying to say 1% or 0.01%? Assuming you are a Texas A&M graduate, I ask that you think carefully before you reply.

You're not following, that's fine.
0.01% of the entire US population is ~33,000 people.

Yes, apparently this is rocket science - I had assumed it would have just sunk in when showing the numbers.Aggies2009 said:Hence why I said "of people who get it".The Big12Ag said:ORAggieFan said:
